Der har været mange spørgsmål om eksem, og jeg har rigtig mange klienter med problemet i min klinik.

Allergiske sygdomme er tiltaget i et eksplosivt omfang i de sidste 15 år. Hvert 3.- 4. barn i den vestlige verdens industrilande lider af allergi. Man anslår antallet af allergikere i Danmark til ca. 1,3 millioner. På europæisk plan skønnes hver fjerde at have en allergi. De allergiske hudsygdomme, fx atopisk eksem, udgør en betydelig del heraf. Det er samtidig en sygdom, som den traditionelle medicin ikke kan behandle tilfredsstillende i det lange løb. Ca. 20 % af alle børn har i Danmark eksem, de fleste dog i en lettere grad.

 

Atopisk eksem har primært tre årsager:

  •  Arv
  •  Allergi
  •  Miljøfaktorer, som ikke er helt udredte, men frem for alt kan luftforurening og tungmetalbelastning være den udløsende faktor.

 

Hovedsymptomet er den uophørlige kløe, der samtidig kan medføre en endog særdeles stærk psykisk belastning.

Ifølge den ”Moderne Homøopati” er eksem kroppens forsøg på at bringe noget sygdomsudløsende ud af organismen. Hvis disse affaldsstoffer bliver i huden, kommer der ofte en lokal betændelsesreaktion.

Folk med eksem lider betydeligt og forventer naturligvis en hurtig lindring. En del af problemet ligger i, at for vores største afgiftningskirtel, leveren, er huden blot en losseplads. Det er så langt væk, som den kan sende de affaldsstoffer, som den til tider bliver overbebyrdet med. Men for os som individer er huden jo samtidig et kontaktorgan. Det er det, man først ser, når man møder andre, så vi vil naturligvis gerne have at huden er så fin som muligt. Var det ikke sådan, eksisterede kosmetikbranchen vel heller ikke i dag.

Anvendelse af en kortisonholdig (binyrebark) salve fører som regel til en formindskelse af hudsymptomerne. Men da denne terapi blokerer for en naturlig afgiftningsvej, kan den metode kun tolereres i højakutte tilfælde og i et begrænset tidsrum. Blokering af udskillelsesventilen tvinger kroppen til at søge andre afgiftningsmekanismer, og meget ofte må slimhinden i de øvre luftveje som bronkier og lunger tjene som erstatning. Skiftet mellem eksem og astma er en sammenhæng, man har kendt til længe.

Behandling af eksem udelukkende med blokerende metoder som kortisonsalve fører næsten konsekvent til, at der optræder astma. Tilstanden bliver populært kaldet ”astma-eksem”, men bør ses som to forskellige sygdomme, der blot optræder sammen på grund af Kortikosteroidbehandling af en af dem.

Netop hos børn ønsker man en terapi, der ikke blokerer den naturlige udskillelse og reaktionsevne. Et andet vigtigt argument mod kortikosteroider er deres bivirkninger, frem for alt ved kroniske sygdomme.

 

Udover gener for immunforsvaret, fx forhøjelse af infektionsrisikoen, kan der forekomme allergiske hudreaktioner ved den lokale anvendelse og ved længere tids anvendelse:

  •  Hudatrofi (afglatning og rynkedannelse)
  •  Teleangiektaser (udvidelse af de små kar i huden)
  •  Striae (furer, striber)
  •  Steroidakne
  •  Perioral dermatitis (hudbetændelse omkring munden)

 

Ved undertrykkelse af kroppens naturlige forsvarsreaktioner sker der ofte en forværring af hudens tilstand.

Derfor er den bedste løsning at bruge et homøopatisk salvepræparat netop ved langtidsterapi og frem for alt hos børn.

Planten Cardiospermum halicacabum har såvel betændelseshæmmende som kløestillende egenskaber. Den indeholder fytosteroler, som har en stabiliserende effekt på cellemembranerne, der forhindrer en indstrømning af calcium i det intercellulære rum og dermed en forhøjet aktivering af arachidonsyrekaskaden. Denne kaskade er livgivende for mange enzymatiske reaktioner, fx for fremstilling af prostaglandiner og leukotriner, der er vigtige for immunforsvaret. Cardio-spermum har netop på dette punkt en regulerende, men ikke blokerende virkning. Derved sker der en normalisering af en overreagerende betændelsesreaktion som betændelse i huden, uden at afgiftningsprocessen bliver blokeret.

Cardiospermum halicacabum er en meget frodig urteagtig slyngplante, som er vidt udbredt i Indien, Afrika og Syd-amerika. Den tilhører sæbetræs-familien (Sapindaceae). Dens frugter indeholder naturlige saponiner (sæbe), der skummer i vand. Derfor anvendes den også i troperne til vask, og frøene har været brugt i hundredevis af år af søfolk som sæbe, fordi den også skummer op i saltvand. Cardiospermum halicacabums sort-brune frø på størrelse med peberkorn har en hjerteformet hvid flade (se billedet). Deraf navnet Cardiospermum (hjerteært).

 

FIDESAN er et homøopatisk salvepræparat, der indeholder Cardiospermum halicacabum, og præparatet har  over 40 års anvendelseserfaring.

Fidesan salve anvendes ved:

  •   Eksemer af enhver art
  •   Urtikaria (nældefeber)
  •   Dermatoser (hudlidelser) efter ultraviolet bestråling, fx dermatitis solaris, men også  såkaldt soleksem.

 

Afhængig af den individuelle klients sygdomshistorie stimulerer jeg samtidig både lever og tarm med probiotika og leverprodukter med fx bitterstoffer som Marietidsel, Mælkebøtter etc. Er der i sygdomshistorien også tungmetalbelastninger, giver jeg også en 50 dages udrensning med sugetabletproduktet Derivatio. Vand er også vigtigt for at kunne udskille affaldsstoffer og gøre huden smidig.

Tænk på, at huden jo ofte et spejl af, hvorledes det står til inden i kroppen. Derfor kræver en smuk hud næsten altid et endnu smukkere indre.
