Hver dag møder vi et hav af kemiske stoffer, som vi bliver påvirket af. Som allergiker, er vi en udsat gruppe, og må hele tiden holde øje med deklarationer for ikke at skabe ravage i kroppen. I mit tilfælde var det huden, som først viste, at noget var helt galt. Jeg får udslæt med plamager og huden skalder kraftigt.
Mange test hos speciallæger og hospitaler har gjort det klart, at jeg ikke kun er allergisk overfor et enkelt stof men hundredvis af stoffer.
Jeg skal virkelig passe på, hvad jeg spiser eller smører min krop med for ikke at nævne hvad jeg indånder, for der opstår meget let krydsallergier, så listen med utålelige ingredienser vokser fra måned til måned. Og nej, jeg er ikke en sart lille plante med psykisk ustabilitet…
Jeg bare en af de forbrugere, som må nærlæse alt, hvad jeg kommer i nærheden af…
Industrien har i årevis muntret sig med et hav af konserveringsmidler, tilsætningsstoffer og farvestoffer, som for nogen er o.k. og for andre et problem. Stoffer, der gennem årene kan skabe rigtig mange akutte ophold på hospitalerne.
Selv naturlige plantestoffer kan udløse allergi, så det er ikke bare syntetiske, laboratorie-skabte dingenoter, som udgør et problem.
Ved du, at du er allergisk, skal læsebrillerne skrues godt fast over næsetippen, for at gennemskue indholdsstoffer som udover at være skrevet i mikrosmåt, også har navne, som kan dække over helt uskyldige stoffer.

Arbejdslivet var herligt, godt bøjet over diverse væsker,– og nu med følgevirkninger, der gør, at jeg ikke engang kan tåle de mest naturlige produkter.
I dag er vi blevet meget mere bevidste om vores arbejdsmiljøer, men hvad med de mange stoffer, vi klistrer vores hud ind i hver dag? Jeg ved det ikke.
Jeg ved, at vi har et problem, hvis ikke deklarationer er til at forstå, når intolerancer og allergier styrer mit liv, og selv de mest kompetente behandlere ikke kan hjælpe mig gennem junglen af de mange stoffer, som skrider gennem min hud.
Må det en dag blive et gennemskueligt marked, så vi ikke får endnu flere allergikere som jeg…
