Skal der balance i hjernen, så en anden vigtig del af hjernen, hippocampus, kan få lov til at håndtere kriser og ikke mindst lagre vigtig læring, er der en række metoder, fysiske som psykiske, du kan anvende.
Kognitiv terapi kan gøre en forskel, det kan EMDR også (tjek det ud på www.emdr.dk) eller en dygtig tankefeltterapeut, men du kan også gøre noget for din krop og dermed din hjernes overskud til at skabe forandringer. Men det handler også om kroppen! Så derfor:
Få styr på stabile madvaner
Det er skræmmende at se de forslag til mad, som fx Team Danmark stiller op med til en dreng på 12 år, der elsker at spille fodbold og ovenikøbet er så god til det, at han er med på de bedste hold. Kostplanen er fedtfattig og fyldt med kulhydrater, så knægten kan spurte af sted på banen under en kamp, men stort set ingen energi har til at bære skoletasken hjem og få lavet lektierne. Man tror, det er fordi, han ikke kan, men i virkeligheden er der slet ikke fedt nok til, at hjernen kan udvikle sig og holde til den stressbelastning, den bliver udsat for.
Få fat i nogle gode fedtsyrer til hjernefilerne, fx eye q, og få også styr på at spise dig mæt til hvert måltid, og suppler eventuelt med lidt nødder til mellemmåltider. Det kan også være ristede kerner, som de fleste kan lide med en lille bitte smule salt på.
Et stabilt blodsukker hele dagen skaber stabilt humør, prøv det i 14 dage, det skaber forvandling.

Sørg for chrom til blodsukkeret, hvis det er svært at gøre stabilt. Det kan ses på et svingende humør og alt for stor trang til sukker og alkohol. Skab balance i et par måneder med Bio-Chrom og små måltider.
Proteiner er nødvendige, også for hjernen
Ud over fedt og et stabilt blodsukker er hjernen helt afhængig af aminosyrer og kulhydrater. Aminosyrer fås nemmest ved at nedbryde proteinerne i kød, men kan også sagtens klares gennem linser, bønner og bælgfrugter – dog skal de spises hver dag. Spiser du æg et par gange om ugen, bliver du nemt dækket ind, det gør du også med ost og andre mælkeprodukter. Er du eller dit barn veganer, så læs de mange artikler, vi har samlet sammen.
Støtteterapi fra en indisk urt pakket ind i schweizisk forskning
Er din hjerne allerede overrumplet af stress, angst, depression eller andre belastninger, så er det værd at kigge på ekstra støtteterapi i minimum tre måneder.
