I årets første Homøopatiske Hjørne vil jeg gennemgå to sygdomme, som rigtig mange går og døjer med, men som der med den rette behandling hurtigt kan komme en bedring ved.

Uren hud

Bumser eller akne vulgaris, som hudsygdommen rigtig hedder, er en kombination af ikke-betændte hudorme og betændte talgkirtler. Talgkirtler er små kirtler, der findes i huden over hele kroppen undtagen I håndfladerne og fodsålerne. De producerer talg, der er en fedtholdig olieagtig substans, som sørger for at beskytte hår og hud, holde det vandtæt og hæmme mikroorganismer.

Akne ses oftest på ansigt og hals, men det kan udvikle sig på ryg, bryst, overarme og balder, og opstår som følge af tillukning og inflammation i hårsækken. Akne vulgaris plejer at toppe i løbet af ungdomsårene, men kan også ses hos spædbørn, voksne og hos yngre kvinder i forbindelse med menstruation.

Overdreven skrubning/rensning af huden kan forårsage, at hårsække brister og derved frigiver frie fedtsyrer og bakterier ud i vævet, der så ses som urenheder i huden.

 

Årsager

Årsagerne kan være genetiske, men den mest almindelige årsag er pubertet, når de mandlige kønshormoner stiger og stimulerer talgproduktionen. Andre årsager kan være indtagelse af væksthormon, steroider og insulin, mikrotraumer (fx pandebånd, rygsække, bøjlebh’er og sportshjelme) eller brug af udvortes midler som kosmetik. Polycystisk ovarie syndrom (PCO) og andre hormonelle forandringer, der sker ved graviditet eller igennem menstruationscyklussen, kan udvikle eller forværre akne vulgaris.

Der er studier, der peger i retning af, at fedme og overdreven indtagelse af fødevarer med et højt glykæmisk indeks og mejeriprodukter spiller en rolle for forekomsten af akne. For voldsom pillen og trykken af huden ved en oprindelig mild akne kan også resultere i en forværring og ardannelse.

I den traditionelle medicin har man i tidernes løb anvendt alt lige fra antibiotika over binyrebarkhormon til blegemidler som Benzoylperoxid for at hæmme talgudviklingen. Der findes dog et simpelt homøopatisk lægemiddel uden bivirkninger, der arbejder med kroppen og nedbryder betændelsesreaktionen væsentligt. Det er Traumeel S.

Jeg anbefaler det som udvortes salve eller i hårde tilfælde også i dråbe – eller tabletform for at give en systemisk virkning.

Kan Traumeel ikke stå alene, kan man tilføje Echinacea compositum, hvis infektionen er alvorlig. Graphites Homaccord og Placenta compositum, hvis der er tendens til dannelse af arvæv/keloid. Ovarium Suis Injeel ved alvorlig akne, specielt ved PCO, for at regulere den kvindelige hormonubalance. Hormeel, hvis aknen er relateret til menstruationen. Testis compositum til regulering af mandlige hormonelle ubalancer. Neurexan/Nervoheel, hvis der er nervøst stress iblandet.

Til voksne med uren hud anbefaler jeg ofte en seks ugers udrensningskur med Detox Kit, der bl.a. aktiverer leveren. En belastet lever giver nemlig ofte hudreaktioner som urenhed, kløe og eksemer.

Kostmæssigt bør man reducere indtagelsen af fødevarer med et højt sukkerindhold, alkohol og mælk og vaske huden med en mild vandbaseret sæbe.

 

Influenza

Influenza defineres hos voksne som en “akut optrædende luftvejssygdom med feber og hoste”. Forskellen mellem influenza og forkølelse er nemlig, at man hoster uden at have feber, når man er forkølet.

Årsagen er altid en virus og kan derfor ikke behandles med antibiotika. Man ser tit yderligere symptomer som:

  • Ondt i halsen
  • Ledsmerter
  • Muskelsmerter eller udmattelse

De mest udsatte er ældre og børn. Men også gravide og folk, der arbejder i sundhedssektoren, er mere udsatte. Smitten kan også primært gå udover mavetarmkanalen med fx diarré til følge.

Influenzavirus spredes ofte via dråber ved hoste. Vira har en fedtet kappe, der klæber sig til fx huden på modtageren. Men virus mister sin evne til at klæbe til huden og sprede sig, hvis fedtkappen bliver brudt ved håndvask med sæbe, desinficerende midler eller tørring. God hygiejne er derfor en af de bedste metoder til at reducere overførsel af luftvejsvira.

Influenzavira muterer også selv hele tiden, da de har en enzymfejl, så de formerer sig skævt. Det betyder, at det er svært at lave en vaccine, der dækker helt, da den virus, som vaccinen er lavet imod, sandsynligvis slet ikke eksisterer i den form mere, når vaccinen kommer på markedet. Derfor blander man ofte i vaccinen tre forskellige stammer af influenza A og B virus, der var til stede året før, eller forventes at komme, for at ramme bedre. Vaccinen har dog vist sig at kunne give komplikationer som fx lungebetændelse, og dokumentationen for effekten hos ældre mennesker er yderlige meget ringe.

Influenzavirus forårsager en mængde oxidativt stress, så indtag af antioxidanter er vigtig ved influenza. Fx selen, glutathion, C-vitamin og zink. Influenzavirus påfører også stress til immunsystemet, så ældre og svage risikerer at udvikle alvorligere sygdomme i forbindelse med infektionen. Kroppen danner antistoffer allerede første dag efter smitten og topper efter en til to uger. Derfor vil næsten alle influenzaer gå i sig selv efter den tid.

Rent homøopatisk anvender jeg altid det antivirale og godt dokumenterede homøopatiske lægemiddel Engystol i tabletform. Op til 3 x 5 tabletter dagligt i den akutte fase. Man kan også forebygge virusangreb med 1 tablet dagligt. Fx i de kolde måneder.

 

Er der tillægssymptomer kan de behandles således:

Euphorbium comp. næsespray, når symptomerne mest er i de øvre luftveje og udvikler sig til bihulebetændelse. Brocosin ved bredspektret hoste (også til småbørn). Tartephedreel, når symptomerne er omkring bronkierne. Aconitum-Homaccord, når der er voldsom hoste og feber med kuldegysninger. Belladonna-Homaccord, hvis der er gøende hoste. Bryaconeel ved smerte og neuralgier, specielt ved bevægelse og Drosera-Homaccord ved kighostelignende hoste.
