Del 3: Skønhed og balance med de 5 elementer

Hvis du læste med i sidste nummer af SUND-FORSKNING, kunne du læse om elementet Vand, som er et af de fem elementer, jeg refererer til i indlægget her i forhold til at holde kroppen sund og smuk. Nu skal vi vide mere om elementet træ.

Den søde juletid er forbi. De fleste af os har levet af tungere fødevarer, end vi normalt plejer. Det kan være mere fedt og mere sukker. Rigtig mange lider under julens lækkerier med både mavesyre, uren hed, galdestensanfald, migræne, og måske er humøret til den mørke side. Det er nemlig også et faktum, at hvert organ er tilknyttet en følelse i TCM, og leveren er tilknyttet vrede og hidsighed.

Derfor er det en super god idé at følge de 5 elementer for at skabe balance i kroppen igen. Efter vinteren begynder det så småt at spire igen. Leveren kaldes også træelementet i TCM, og farven er grøn. De fleste mennesker laver en såkaldt forårsrengøring i deres hjem, hvor vi får ryddet ekstra ud og op, støvet grundigt af og skilt os af med en masse unødige brugsgenstande. Det føles så rart at få gammel energi væk, både fysisk og psykisk.

Tid til forårsrengøring og tid til at få ryddet op både i hjemmet og i kroppen.

 

Gør forårsrent i din lever

Vores lever har nemlig godt af en forårsrengøring, da den dagligt bliver udsat for mange forskellige “giftige” stoffer. Leverens fornemste opgaver er nemlig mange. Leveren står blandt andet for nedbrydelse af medicin, alkohol, fedt, lager for glukose i form af glukagon, at udskille brugte hormoner, opretholde et normalt blodsukker, udskille brugte røde blodlegemer, rense blodet for vira og bakterier, og jeg kunne blive ved. Leverens funktion og Qi er enormt vigtigt.

Ubalancer i leveren kan være:

  • Migræne
  • Vægtstigning
  • Dårlig fordøjelse
  • Galdesten
  • Gulsot
  • Inflammation
  • Uren hud
  • Infektioner
  • Muskelsmerter
  • Pms/ ufrugtbarhed/ manglende menstruation
  • Eksem/akne
  • Åreknuder
  • Øjensygdomme, fx kronisk øjenbetændelse, grøn stær
  • Aggression/ irritabilitet
  • Forhøjet blodtryk Kvalme
  • Depression
  • Træthed
  • Forhøjet kolesterol
  • Nedsat immunsystem

(Du skal selvfølgelig gå til lægen med dine symptomer, men kig samtidig på den kinesiske tankegang her på siderne).

Hjælp din lever

Du kan hjælpe din lever godt på vej med nemme råd, et produkt, jeg ofte selv bruger til mine klienter, men også selv tager, er Active Liver fra New Nordic. Det er en daglig “vitamin”-pille til leverens celler. Men hov, renser vores lever ikke sig selv?

Og det gør den heldigvis, men med tiden, som vi bliver ældre, eller hvis vi måske ikke lever helt efter “bogen”, fx med junk food, stress, kaffe, alkohol og måske et dagligt forbrug af sukker, sker den udrensende proces ikke på fuld kraft.

Og der opstår dermed en såkaldt ubalance i leverens flow. Der kan både være en “flammende leverild”, stagneret lever Qi, svækkelse af lever yin og mange flere tilstande, hvor leveren ikke har det optimalt. Men med en daglig tablet bestående af marietidsel, gurkemeje og artiskok, som indeholder en fin kombination af bitterstoffer, som leveren elsker, men også det fedtnedbrydende Cholin, får leveren en daglig “støttende hånd”.

Du kan også øge dit indtag af mad, som indeholder bitterstoffer, fx

  • Et stort glas vand med en halv presset citron på fastende hjerte om morgenen
  • Grøn te
  • Rucola
  • Valnødder
  • Grape
  • Sennep
  • Bukkehornsfrø
  • Kål, især de grønne udgaver

Leveren er generelt rigtig glad for frugt og grønt, varmende krydderier som hvidløg og chili (her skal du mærke efter, hvad du kan lide). Prøv at tage en dag om ugen kun med lækre salater med fx forskelligt bladgrønt, hakkede valnødder, grape, revet rødbede, bønner/quinoa, juicer og supper. Men gør det en dag, hvor du ikke har de store planer.

Det er en god ide at give sig tid og ro, hvis du ændrer radikalt på din kost. Leveren er vild med ro omkring måltidet og en fast rytme.

Udefra bliver din lever Qi også påvirket af tungmetaller (fx i rovfisk, amalgamfyldninger, aluminium fra deodoranter, sølvpapir, brug her i stedet bagepapir). Smog. Tilsætningsstoffer i både madvarer og også fx kosmetik.

Træn din lever med dynamisk motion

Du kan styrke din lever Qi ved at dyrke dynamisk motion. Her mener jeg motion, som får pulsen let op på rolig vis. Det kunne være fx en løbetur, gåtur i rask tempo i skoven, dans eller cykling. Du kan også dyrke yoga, som flowyoga. Hvis du oplever muskelspændinger, som du kan få ved leverubalance, kan du med fordel smøre dine muskler med magnesiumolie, det bliver hurtigt optaget igennem huden og giver ro og virker afspændende.

Hvis du føler dig stresset eller måske irritabel, kan du prøve to tabletter dagligt af New Nordics Melissa Dream. Det er en urtekombination med citronmelisse, som både virker immunstyrkende og beroligende på nervesystemet, og som også indeholder grøn te, magnesium og B-vitaminer.

Ondt i musklerne? Måske har du ubalance i leveren …

Balancer med leverpunkter

Du kan selv skabe balance med nogle skønne punkter på leverens meridian. Lever 1 (billede af lever 1) sidder på storetåens negl, som vender mod de andre tæer. Punktet kan masseres flere gange dagligt og virker beroligende; brug her evt. en gua sha sten. Punktet kan også bruges ved hovedpine, uregelmæssig menstruation og frygt.

Lever 2 findes i svømmehuden imellem 1. og 2. tå. Det bruges også ved hovedpine, pms, vrede diabetes og smerter.

Hvis du synes, at din hud afspejler leverubalance, fx akne, du er gullig ved øjnene eller har måske urenheder, så start med din kost og evt. to styk Active Liver. Sørg for at få ca. to liter vand dagligt, fordelt over dagen.

Kig gerne dine produkter igennem for kemi, download fx appen “kemiluppen”, de hjælper dig med at finde ren økologisk hudpleje. For selvom kosmetikfirmaer brander sig med at være “økologiske”, kan de stadig indeholde stoffer som fx triethanolamine, et stof, som desværre findes i hudpleje, som er tilladt herhjemme, men er forbudt i flere lande, herunder Tyskland, grundet mistanke om en kræftfremkaldende effekt. Giv dig god tid til at rydde ud og op, og brug lidt tid på at studere, hvilke produkter du dagligt smører dig med. Det er virkelig tiden værd for din egen sundheds skyld. Du skal også være tålmodig, for en smuk hud afspejler en krop i balance, så derfor skal du arbejde hen mod en sund, varieret og økologisk kost, for når du spiser økologisk, skåner du nemlig kroppen for en masse unødigt kemi og tilsætning, men skåner også miljøet og bidrager til lidt bedre dyrevelfærd.
