Du kan skifte overbevisninger, ændre mening og skabe ny livskraft

Freden ligger i ikke at forsøge at kontrollere andre, eller prøve at ændre dem. Ligesom ingen kan ændre eller kontrollere dig, med mindre du lader dem gøre det.

Friheden ligger i at være dig selv, uden at skulle præstere noget bestemt, for at blive elsket eller føle kærlighed.

Det vi er allermest bange for, er vores egen storhed. Hvordan det, spørger du måske? Jo ser du, når vi skal forlade vores fortid og det vi kommer fra, føler vi pludselig at vi ikke hører til nogen steder. Det kan være enormt ensomt og angstprovokerende.

Vi bliver bange for afvisningen, ved at vise vores egen storhed, for hvem er jeg så pludselig? Hvem er jeg, når jeg ikke er den, som jeg altid har været? Når jeg ikke er den rolle eller persona, som alle mine nærmeste kender mig som?

Vi bliver stillet med ansigtet overfor vores største frygt og vores værste skygger – alle de sider vi normalt ikke har villet være, og alle de egenskaber vi ikke har villet tage ejerskab for.

Vi kan føle skyld over at forlade det vi kommer fra, og kender så godt. Hver gang vi tager et udviklingsskridt, så skal vi løfte foden, fra hvor vi står. Det føles som at forråde vores nuværende værdier og fællesskab, heraf opstår følelsen af skyld.

Oplevelsen af skyld, er prisen vi må tage for vækst. Det kan gøre ondt, være enormt smertefuldt, og føles som om du er i et ingenmandsland. Fordi du står imellem at forlade alt det du kender, og at nærme dig alt det du ikke kender.

Du står et ukendt sted, med din frygt stirrende dig lige ind i ansigtet. Men på den anden side af frygten, ligger friheden. Her ligger friheden til at være den du i virkeligheden er, friheden til at være dig selv.

Udfordringen er, hvordan du kan ære og medtage, det du fik i din fortid, samtidig med at du tager de nødvendige skridt mod frigørelse og succes i livet.

Vid at det kan være en smertefuld proces og rykke sig fri af alt det du kender, over til det du ønsker at blive. For at noget nyt kan komme ind, må noget gammelt ud, og det kan gøre ondt. Værn om det sårbare, for at det kan transformeres til noget nyt.
