Vi danskere elsker sol og sommer, men desværre er vi ikke helt så gode til at beskytte vores hud imod solens skadelige stråler. Flere og flere rammes af bivirkninger af en ubeskyttet hud, nemlig pigmentforandringer. Hvordan kan du forebygge og/eller behandle forandringer i huden?

Vores hud består af tre hudlag, epidermis (overhud), dermis (læderhud) og subcutis (underhuden), og er et helt fantastisk sanseorgan. Vores hud producerer også forstadiet til D-vitamin, når solens stråler rammer os, men alt med måde, og hvis du vil holde din hud ung og smuk, er det på med solfiltret i de lyse måneder.
Den tyndeste hud, vi har, er vores overhud, som er ca. 0,1 mm tyk – andre steder, fx håndfladen, er den 1-5 mm tyk. Huden skal beskytte os imod solens skadelige ultraviolette stråler, og det gør den bl.a. med melanin, som er det mørke pigment. Melanocytterne udskiller altså brun pigment og giver os dermed den skønne sommerkulør. Melanocytterne sidder i hudens nederste lag i overhuden, det der kaldes stratum basale.

Lyt til kroppens signaler
Nogle mennesker har meget melanin, fx afrikanere, som er tilpasset solens stærkere stråler sydpå, mens vi danskere har mindre melanin, fordi vi ikke er gearet til at “ligge og stege i solen” heroppe i norden.
Når huden bliver varm og rød, er det faktisk et signal fra din hud, som taler til dig og siger “se du at komme væk fra solen”.
Desværre opfanger mange ikke signalet og bliver i solen. Resultatet kan være skadede celler, som overproducerer melanin og rødme i form af solskoldning. Når huden ikke beskyttes tilstrækkeligt, er det en farlig kemisk proces, som sættes i gang. Det kan i sidste ende give hudkræft, hvis det gentages sommer efter sommer.
Pigmentforandringer er som udgangspunkt ikke farlige, men hold øje med farven og evt. ændringer. Dog er mange kvinder kede af denne kosmetiske “fejl”. Huden ser grumset ud og kan give det såkaldte “overskæg”, små pletter og en “maske” ved øjnene og i panden. Men der er hjælp at hente fra diverse naturlige behandlinger fx diamant peeling, masker og lysende sera.
Skaden er sket, hvad gør jeg?
Når melanocytterne omdanner aminosyren tyrosin sker der en kemisk ændring, og der bliver dannet det mørke pigment melanin. Vores melaninproduktion er arveligt bestemt, men kan også komme af graviditet, grundet det høje hormonniveau kaldet melasma. Brug af medicin, p-piller og nogle urter kan fremprovokere pigmentforandringer.
Du kan som det første beskytte din hud med en god solcreme med spf. 30-50. Har du pigmentforandringer i forvejen, er det en god idé at blokke med den højeste faktor, du kan finde, 50+, undgå direkte sollys og gå med hat. Vi burde faktisk tage østens vaner til os – nemlig skygge, hat og solcreme – hvis vi vil bevare den unge smukke hud. Lys hud ser som regel smukkere og yngre ud end en solbrun tør hud. Jeg elsker selv at have en smuk glød, men jeg kan godt se, hvad den gør bagefter, derfor er jeg altid meget obs. på ikke at være for længe i solen.
Husk at beskytte din hud i solen. Brug fx solcreme med spf. 30-50. Har du allerede pigmentforandringer, så brug SPF 50.
Nej, du bliver ikke bleg af at peele huden. Faktisk opnår du et sundere og friskere udseende.
Du kan bruge forskellige produkter udefra til at lysne pigmentpletterne ved hjælp af eksempelvis AHA (frugtsyre)/mælkesyre eller C-vitaminserum – der findes en masse gode på markedet.
Phenome´ skincare laver en fantastisk enzym peeling med mælkesyre på 5% som kan bruges af alle hudtyper, den lysner mildt de mørke pletter. Fra samme mærke vil jeg anbefale Vitality shine mask, som er en lækker mousse maske med lysende C-vitamin, antioxidanter, som styrker huden, og ikke mindst hyaluronsyre, som virker fugtgivende og “plumper” vores hud, altså giver fylde og glathed.
Hvis dine pletter er meget generende, så brug eventuel penge hos en professionel, og få fx en diamant peeling, hvor epidermis får en rigtig “grundrens”, og dermed aktiveres huden, så den laver nye friske celler, og det gamle melanin afstødes hurtigere. Rigtig mange får ikke peelet deres hud nok, fordi de tror, de bliver blege. Men i virkeligheden fornyes huden, og den opnår et sundere udseende. Hvilken peeling, du skal bruge, er meget individuelt, det kommer helt an på din hudtype og problem. Hellere en lidt mildere peeling, som du bruger ofte, end en grov peeling, som måske irriterer din sarte hud.
Tag østens gode vaner til dig: Skygge, solcreme og hat, men du skal også sørge for nok D-vitamin her i Skandinavien, så sørg også for sol!
Er dine pigmentpletter meget generende, så gå til en professionel og få fx lavet en diamant peeling.
Plej huden indefra og udefra
Tænk også hudpleje ind i din solcreme, altså de aktive ingredienser, som nærer din hud i den varme tid, gå efter ingredienser som fx hyaluronsyre, som fugter og udglatter epidermis, jeg er særligt vild med solcremerne fra AVIVIR. De består af 70 % økologisk aloe vera, som virker enormt helende og fugtgivende på huden. Solcremerne er også uden parfume og er svanemærkede, det er virkelig værd at tage med. For at styrke huden indefra kan man drikke et ren shot aloe vera hver dag fra AVIVIR. Aloe vera er kendt for sin beroligende virkning i fordøjelsen, og når vi taler om huden, taler vi også om en sund mikroflora i tarmene.
Aloe Vera fra AVIVIR gør det muligt for dig at pleje huden og samtidig opnå solbeskyttelse. Solcremerne indeholder hyaluronsyre, som fugter og udglatter. Snupper du et shot aloe vera, kan du styrke din tarmflora, hvilket også er essentielt for en smuk og sund hud.
Lav småskader i din hud
Dermaroller er også en god ide. Den laver en miniskade i din overhud, og huden begynder automatisk at producere nye bindevævsfibre som collagen og elastin under ophelingen. Det giver en finere hud struktur og lysere pletter. Du vil også opleve, at dine ar fra fx bumser og rynker bliver mindsket. Dog anbefales det ikke til en akneramt hud.
Sidste løsning kunne være et smut forbi en hudlæge og få laser. Her knuses der små “klumper” af overaktive melaninceller. Det giver et mere ensartet udseende.
Om aftenen er det en god ide af bruge en serum/creme med A-vitamin, da det støtter op om cellefornyelsen, men også reducerer rynker og giver dig en stærkere overhud. A-vitamin bruges ca. fra 25-årsalderen ca. to gange om ugen, og fra 40 år ca. tre-fire gange om ugen om natten. A-vitamin er lysfølsomt og må IKKE bruges om dagen. Når du starter med at bruge A-vitamin, kan du opleve en let rødme. Det er helt normalt.
Lav småskader i din hud med Dermarolleren. Huden begynder automatisk at producere nye bindevævsfibre som collagen og elastin under ophelingen.
Din hud elsker vitaminerne D, C, E og A! Spis røde, gule/orange grøntsager og frugter som gulerødder, søde kartofler, peberfrugter, jordbær og vandmelon.
Spis dig til en stærkere hud
Som holistisk behandler vil jeg altid anbefale dig at spise dig til en smukkere hud. Mad er ikke bare mad, mad er kemi, og vores krop er nødsaget til at være i rette balance, for ellers sladrer din hud. Maden, vi spiser, indeholder vigtige næringsstoffer, som allesammen har en forskellig funktion i kroppen. Vores hud er især glad for D-vitamin, C-vitamin, E-vitamin og A-vitamin/betacaroten. Du kan spise røde og gule/orange grøntsager og frugter som gulerødder, søde kartofler, peberfrugter, jordbær og vandmelon. De indeholder forstadiet til A-vitamin nemlig betacaroten. A-vitamin er fedtopløseligt, og derfor optages det bedst sammen med lidt fedt fra fx nødder, avocado mm.
Styrk din hud med en rigtig sommerjuice med 2 gulerødder, 1 rødbede, 1 citron og 1 æble og 1 tsk. hampefrøolie. Eller en håndfuld vandmelon, 1 appelsin, 1/2 citron, 1 stk. hørfrøolie og 1 håndfuld frosne jordbær. Røde og orange frugter og grønsager indeholder karotenider. Karotenioderne beskytter huden og giver en naturlig glød.
Drik hvid, rød eller grøn te dagligt. De er springfyldte med flavonoider, som beskytter imod oxidativt stress ved at hindre, at frie iltradikaler generer cellevæggene. Du kan lave din egen billige toner ved at lave en kop stærk fx rød te og lade det køle ned. Brug det efter solbadning og inden din dagcreme for antioxidant effekt. Teen holder sig i en lukket flaske ca. fire dage. Du kan købe sprayflasker i de fleste helsekostbutikker. Du kan fx tilsætte to dråber økologisk lavendel for at opnå den beroligende virkning, som den aromatiske blomst har.
Desuden viser forskning også, at flavonoider er med til at styrke immunsystemet og beskytter huden imod uv-stråling og dermed ældning og skader. Du kan også dagligt tage et tilskud af New Nordics Pigment Clear. Tabletterne indeholder kobber, som bidrager til en normal pigmentering, men også antioxidanterne astaxathin, C-vitamin og granatæble.
Husk nu at drikke vand!
Gerne to liter dagligt. Solen udtørrer din hud hurtigt, det får den til at se ældre ud, og tørhedslinjer opstår. Pift gerne dit vand op med økologiske frugter og grønsager for en friskere smag. Prøv fx grape, jordbær og citron. Eller mynteblade og agurk.
Et andet billigt skønhedstrick til at beskytte din hud imod skader er stoffet lycopen. Lycopen er en stærk antioxidant, som findes i tomater, når de opvarmes, og det er en sand beauty hjælper. Spis gerne 2 spsk. økologisk tomatpuré dagligt med lidt mandler for bedre optagelse. Hvis ikke du gider at spise det hver dag, kan du snuppe 1 tab. dagligt fra Natur drogeriet (lycopene kapsler).
Husker du at drikke vand? Solen udtørrer hurtigt din hud og giver dig tørhedslinjer, så husk at drikke vand. Pift dit vand op med økologisk frugter og grøntsager.
