Efteråret nærmer sig, og det betyder ofte, folk falder som fluer med influenza, snot og hoste. I dag får du derfor min egen “action plan”, som jeg bruger, når der er optræk til ondt i halsen, forkølelse og snue. Køreplanen er handy at have ved hånden.


1: Varme
Det lyder ikke så lækkert, men du hjælper kroppen og immunforsvaret ved at svede! Du hjælper kroppens naturlige feber, som er et sundhedstegn, du ikke bør dæmpe (medmindre en feber bliver livstruende høj – hvilket sker meget sjældent ved en almindelig infektion). Feberen er kroppens forsvarsmekanisme og sørger for at “brænde” vira og andre indtrængere af.


2: Vitaminer og mineraler
Sørg for at få et dækkende tilskud af vitaminer og mineraler i organisk form (Fx Omnimin Pure). Husk at tage ekstra tilskud af vitamin D igennem vinteren fx i sprayform fra BetterYou.


3: Søvn
Tag den med ro, og drag omsorg for dig selv. Gå tidligt i seng, hvis du mærker, at en infektion er på vej, og sov så meget som muligt.


4: Echinacea purpurea – Rød Solhat
Styrker immunforsvaret ved at øge aktiviteten i de celler i immunforsvaret, som dræber bakterier og vira. Ved ondt i halsen er Echinacea Halsspray fantastisk.


5: Propolis næsespray
Desinficerer næseslimhinde, bihuler og svælg. Bruges flere gange dagligt og tager også kløe og irritation. Immunstimulerende og lokalt betændelseshæmmende. Du kan også bruge næsespray fra Voegel eller Weleda’s Rhinodoron med aloe vera.


6: C-vitamin
Tag 5 g C-vitamin dagligt i et par dage, til symptomerne forsvinder. Får du diarré, skal du holde pause med den høje dosis. C-vitamin virker kun forebyggende og det er derfor vigtigt, at du får rigeligt med C-vitamin i maden for at forebygge. Har du nyresygdom, bør du ikke tage store doser C-vitamin.


7: Hvidløg
(Alium sativum) er et naturligt antibiotika, som fremmer natural killer cells og dermed øger immunforsvaret. Hvidløg virker slimløsende og desinficerende og er således et fortræffeligt middel mod forkølelser og halsbetændelse.


8: Skånekost
Drop slik, sukker, forarbejdet mad og stærkt opvarmede kulhydrater (brød, chips, kiks osv.) helt.


9: Anti-hoste te
Så snart du mærker optræk til hoste eller slim:

Halver en hel chili, og overhæld med kogende vand i et tekrus. Tilsæt 1 cm hakket ingefær. Tilsæt evt. en dusk timian.

Virker øjeblikkeligt slimløsende og hostestillende.
