Var sommeren lidt for god, og ønsker du som så mange andre at få vægten ned? Så bør du overveje, om den beslutning ikke kun er overvejet mellem ørerne, eller om resten af kroppen også er med på den. For et vedvarende vægttab bør hele kroppen forberedes, ellers vil kroppen kæmpe imod og fx sænke stofskiftet.

Men, hvad er der at gøre? Ja, det lette svar er at forbruge flere kalorier, end man indtager. Så vil man tabe sig uanset hvad. Men det er ikke let og meget abstrakt for de fleste. Det fører ofte til stress, fejlernæring og belastningsskader.
I årtier er vi blevet foreslået tusindvis af slankekure. Man skulle tro, at en stor del af salget af de såkaldte ”dameblade” er afhængige af tilstedeværelsen af slankekure. Men hvorfor er alle læsere så ikke åleslanke?
Jeg mener, at en klassisk slankekur har mange problemstillinger, der bør afhjælpes, før den kan føre til et permanent vægttab. Derfor bliver slankekure ofte kaldt ”yo-yo-kure”, fordi vægten går op og ned som en yo-yo. Et evt. vægttab bliver næsten altid efterfulgt af en vægtforøgelse, og nogle gange en endnu højere vægt.
En kur – indikerer, at vi har med et tidsbegrænset forløb at gøre. Dernæst, at det, vi vil spise og drikke, skal være anderledes og sundt i forhold til det, vi gør nu. Det er jo meget godt, men hvis en kur betyder sund mad i kun fem uger, så stopper festen jo, og så er vi lige vidt. Mange forskningsprojekter viser, at hvis denne kur ikke fører til en livsstilsændring, så vil det aldrig give et permanent vægttab.
Det er vigtigt at gøre sig klart, at kroppen har nogle overordnede mekanismer, som den bliver nødt til at honorere for ikke at blive alvorligt syg. Det er bl.a. at tilbageholde væske for at buffe pH-værdien op, hvis miljøet bliver for surt. Vand er jo en neutral væske og kan derfor ophæve noget af surheden. Bindevævet har mange funktioner, og en af dem er at fungere som syre-base buffer for blodet, der skal have en livsvigtig konstant pH-værdi. Omvendt vil kroppen, hvis den havde et mere basisk miljø, slippe noget af den nu unødige væske. Og her ligger det helt centrale problem mht. yo-yo-kurene.
Den sunde kost i slankekuren er næsten altid basedannende. Altså meget mineralholdigt frugt og grønt. Og samtidig fattig på syredannende elementer som brød, sukker, kød, skaldyr, mælk og mange ostetyper. Så stigningen i pH-værdien mod en mere basisk/neutral tilstand vil reducere den ophobede væske i kroppen og derved give et øjeblikkeligt vægttab.
Det har altså aldrig været fedt, man har tabt, men vand. Selvfølgelig ryger der lidt fedt, da man indtager mindre energi/kalorier, men det vil være meget usandsynligt at tabe flere kilo fedt på en 5-ugers kur, medmindre man er meget fysisk aktiv. Når kuren så er ovre, går man oftest tilbage til den syredannende kost, man plejer at spise, pH-værdien falder, og kroppen suger atter væske = Yo-yo’en er på vej op ad snoren igen. Det er vigtigt at forstå, at vand er den hurtige buffer ved en oversyring. Den langsomme er at tære på vores primære basedepot, nemlig kalken i knoglerne. Det er en helt anden alvorlig mekanisme, som specielt børn i voksealderen og kvinder efter klimakteriet skal være opmærksomme på.
Så hvad kan man gøre for at blive klar til et vægttab? Jeg anbefaler altid at starte med at tage et basisk kosttilskud som fx Basica for at forstærke den sunde kosts virkning på væsketabet. Det indeholder 10 forskellige mineraler, der alle er bundet i citrater, som optages hurtigt og derfor er mere biooptagelige. Slankekure, der er designet til vægtreduktion via lavkalorie ernæring, er desuden typisk meget ubalancerede og når ikke det daglige magnesiumbehov. Så ekstra magnesium vil altid være godt.
Vi omgås dagligt af talrige psykiske og fysiske stressfaktorer. Vi har ved 45-årsalderen været i kontakt med ca. 300.000 forskellige kemiske substanser.
I relation til vægttab er det til at forstå, at hvis vores lever har for travlt med at nedbryde medicin og stimulanser, samtidig med at bugspytkirtlen ligger under for et overload af stresshormoner som kortisol, ja, så er der bare ikke meget kapacitet til nedbrud af fedt, proteiner og kulhydrater.
Mange af os, der er over 15 år gamle, har også amalgamfyldninger i tænderne, der kan være medvirkende til en dårlig tarmflora, da kroppen gerne vil binde tungmetaller i svamp og deponere det i bl.a. tarmslimhinden. Hvor der er svamp, er der et dårligt miljø for optagelse af maden og risiko for, at tarmen lækker affaldsstoffer ud i blodet, som derved belaster leveren yderligere. Så følger fx træthed, hovedpine og hudsygdomme ofte i kølvandet. Men frem for alt kan de primære afgiftningsorganer – lever/tarm, nyrer og bindevæv ikke fungere optimalt. Resultatet vil være, at vi ophober affaldsstofferne. Det giver mere organstress, oversyring og behov for fedtceller at deponere i. Fedtet er nemlig et fantastisk lager for uønskede affaldsstoffer. Så når man vil tabe fedt, er det vigtigt at stimulere afgiftningsorganerne, så de er klar til at tage imod den øgede forgiftningstendens, når affaldet bliver frigivet fra det svundne fedt.
Så start ethvert ønske om vægttab med en 6-ugers kur med Detox-Kit, der lige præcist stimulerer funktionen af lever, nyrer og bindevæv. Hæld 30 dråber af hver af de tre miksturer i 1-1,5 liter vand, og drik det slurkvist igennem dagen. Så får man også tilført vand, der er alfa og omega for at øge drænagen. Derved kommer affaldsstofferne nu ud af kroppen, og bliver ikke blot flyttet rundt i kroppen. For tungmetaludledning er en 50-dages kur med 1 sugetablet Derivatio, 2 gange dagligt, helt unik. Kuren kan gentages hver 18. måned, indtil der ikke er flere fyldninger. Kuren bør altid afsluttes med en måned på et effektivt probiotisk mælkesyrebakterie tilskud, fx SymbioLact Comp. På den måde bliver tarmens naturlige flora genoprettet, og man vil derved få marginalt mere ud af den gode kost.
Jeg anvender desuden det homøopatiske lægemiddel Fucus vesiculosus injeel-ampuller til at styre appetitten, hvis den er for stor.
Konkluderende må man sige, at det vigtigste er, at du starter med en realistisk blivende plan for vægttabet. Falder man i af og til, så nyd øjeblikket i stedet for at føle skyld. Juster en evt. ubalance mellem ”synd og sundhed” ved at øge din fysiske aktivitet. Bevægelse udløser velværehormoner og giver yderligere motivation samt øger kredsløbet, der binder kuldioxid, så det kommer ud via lungerne. Det er energigivende og smertereducerende.
Så drop slankekure, og spis fornuftig i stedet for. Fornuftigt, let og billigt er det at tygge maden 15-20 gange mere, end du gør nu. Det giver en bedre optagelse af næringsstofferne. Spis mindre portioner. Køb mindre tallerkener, hvis det er det, der skal til. Drik vand før måltiderne. Hold dig væk fra raffinerede kulhydrater som hvidt sukker, brød og pasta. Spis en skive frisk ananas inklusive det hårde i midten hver morgen. Det tilfører et godt enzym, der hedder bromelain, som hjælper til bedre optagelse af kosten. Spis lidt flere fibre, og øg proteinindtaget med 25 % mellem kl. 7.00 og 12.00. Det kan fx være æg, suppe eller andet. Mere motion har jeg nævnt – og her mener jeg blot mere motion, end du gør nu. Det betyder altså ikke, at du skal pine dig selv i fitnesscenteret, men evt. bare gå en rask tur med din hund … også hvis du ikke har en. Har du ondt nogen steder i kroppen, så det forhindrer dig i at bevæge dig 100 %, så bevæg dig det, du kan. Sving med armene, hvis knæene gør ondt osv.
Men frem for alt: ”Lær at elske dig selv”. Et vægttab er nemlig kun en sag mellem din hjerne og resten af dig selv!
