Det homøopatiske hjørne

Jeg kan vist stadig sige godt nytår til alle læserne, da det er det første Homøopatiske hjørne i det nye årti. Jeg har i de sidste måneder observeret mange med smerter og ubehag i mave-tarm-regionen på grund af:

  • Maveinfektionen, der var i omløb sidst på året
  • Mavepine/kramper/kolik
  • Mavekatar

Maveinfektion

Maveinfektioner kan komme af både bakterier og virus. Er det meget alvorligt, eller forekommer der blod i afføringen, skal man altid søge læge.

Her vil jeg beskrive maveinfluenza, som ofte opstår på grund af vira, der indtræder i tarmsystemet. Bl.a. ses Norovirus, som giver den tilstand, der før blev kaldt Roskildesyge. Altså mavesmerter, diarré, kvalme, feber etc. Når der er tale om en virus, er det formålsløst at behandle med penicillin, da det kun kan slå bakterier ned.

Det er vigtigt ved enhver infektion at drikke ekstra meget vand. Dvs. ca. 0,04 liter pr. kilo kropsvægt (70 kilo = 2,8 liter) mod normalt 0,028 liter/kilo. Husk altid, at vand er godt og vigtigt for kroppen i næsten alle sammenhænge.

Det er også vigtigt at styrke det uspecifikke immunforsvar, så alle paraderne er oppe. Det kunne være før stressperioder, vinter, større arbejdsbyrder, større fysiske belastninger eller ved længere sygdomsforløb.

Her er det, Engystol kommer ind i billedet. Laboratorieforsøg har nemlig vist, at dette homøopatiske lægemiddel aktiverer cellernes interferonsystem. Interferon (IFN) er et af de vigtigste signalstoffer, der frigives af celler, som er inficeret af virus, bakterier eller parasitter. Ved at frigive interferon fra den inficerede celle aktiveres kroppens forsvarsmekanismer i de omkringliggende celler, som derved stopper infektionen.

Så når der er virus i omløb, er Engystol et godt og seriøst dokumenteret bud. Ved at tage blot en sugetablet om dagen holder man det uspecifikke immunforsvar oppe mod alle virale angreb. Det vil sige at man opnår en god beskyttelse mod både almindelige influenza-A-vira og fx norovirus.

 

Får man ikke forebygget i tide og bliver ramt, er Engystol stadig et godt bud, men nu to tabletter, tre gange dagligt i den akutte fase.

 

Derudover evt. Diarreel tabletter, og husk altid et godt probiotika. Fx en pose SymbioLact hver dag til hovedmåltidet. Ved diarré kan man også anvende et godt gammelt råd med en halv liter kogt vand, to spiseskeer sukker og en halv teske salt. Det giver de elektrolytter tilbage, som tabes ved de hyppige toiletbesøg og sukker hjælper kroppen til bedre at optage salt og vand.

 

Mavepine, kramper og kolik

Muskulaturen i mave-tarm kaldes for glat muskulatur. Den kan udvides meget bedre end skeletmuskler, der sørger for, at vi kan bevæge os og transporterer tarmindholdet videre ved hjælp af uvilkårlige sammentrækninger. Når den glatte muskulatur trækker sig overdrevent sammen, taler man om spasmer (krampe). Det er forbundet med stærke smerter, som enhver kender som mavekramper. Er der meget luftdannelse i tarmen, kan muskulaturen udvides unaturligt meget, og så taler man om kolik. Kolik kan beskrives som en smerte, der får patienten til at krumme sig foroverbøjet sammen.

Spascupreel er et godt dokumenteret homøopatisk lægemiddel, der bruges ved krampetilstande, kolik og smerter i de forskellige organer med glat muskulatur. De er fantastiske ved alle typer kramper i mave-/tarm-/underlivsregionen inkl. menstruationssmerter.

 

Mavekatar

Mavekatar er defineret som betændelse i mavens slimhinde. Det kan enten være en akut eller kronisk sygdom. Den mest almindelige årsag til mavekatar er infektion af en bakterie der betegnes Helicobacter pylori.

Det er en af flere arter af bakterier, der lever i maven, men denne bakterietype synes at have udviklet specielle evner. Den erhverves normalt i barndommen via forældres kys. Efter at den er trængt igennem slimlaget i maven, udvikler den en inflammatorisk reaktion i det underliggende væv. En infektion forårsaget af Helicobacter pylori er anderledes end de andre klassiske bakterielle angreb, fordi den ikke blot danner toksiner, men fordi der er et komplekst samspil mellem bakterien selv, patienten og dens miljø i mavesækken.

Når immunsystemet hos værten bliver udfordret af andre infektioner og specielt stress, giver det dårlige immunsystem basis for en yderligere betændelsesreaktion ud over den, der allerede er indledt af H. pylori i slimhinden. H. pylori var i øvrigt den første bakterie, man observerede, der kan være kræftfremkaldende.

Der kan dog være andre årsager til mavekatar, såsom fødevareallergi, typisk over for komælk eller soja, parasitter, kemoterapi, alkohol og overdreven brug af smertehæmmere (NSAID’er) som Ibuprofen, diclofenac samt acetylsalicylsyre.

Behandling af mavekatar foregår hovedsageligt med antibiotika for at slå Helicobacter pylori ned. Inden for homøopatien findes der en cocktail, som er dobbeltblindtestet med godt resultat. Den består af Nux Vomica Homaccord- og Lymphomyosot-dråber – 30 dråber dagligt samt sugetabletten Gastricumeel 1 x 3 dagligt. Tabletten er faktisk hovedmidlet ved alle ubalancer i mavesækken og tolvfingertarmen samt mavemunden, så ved sure opstød/refluks er den midlet.

 

På falderebet lige to andre gode råd ved problemer i mave-tarm-området.

Mange døjer med overdreven vækst af svamp (fx candida) i tarmen. Det kan være efter for mange penicillinkure, øvrig medicinering og tungmetalpåvirkninger.

Her anvender jeg grapefrugtkerneekstrakt. Det er på mange Candida-behandlingsplaner af meget god grund. Candidiasis, ofte benævnt “candida”, er en svampeinfektion, der kan påvirke mænd og kvinder i alle aldre i forskellige dele af kroppen. Det forekommer oftest i mave-tarm-kanalen, munden, ørerne, næsen, på tånegle, negle og i vagina. Det eneste økologiske produkt på markedet, der også kan indtages oralt, er CitroPlus. Skyldes svampen tungmetalbelastning, så tag 1 sugetablet Derivatio 2 x dagligt i 50 dage før.

 

Det andet problem, som ofte give maveproblemer, er vores samfundslidelse nummer ét, nemlig STRESS.

 

Rent homøopatisk anvender jeg to produkter. Et til tankemylder og dårlig evne til at fokusere og sove, nemlig Neurexan-tabletter eller dråber. Det andet produkt er til de kropslige stresssymptomer som uro, svedeture, hjertebanken, dårlig mave, hovedpine, angst og frygt. Her anvender jeg Nervoheel, der ligeledes er klinisk dokumenteret. Tit kombinerer jeg begge ved udpræget stress og udbrændthed.
